The executor’s fee is a percentage of the value of the assets of the estate. There is a fee schedule upon which the fee is determined that ranges from 4% to 2% of the value of the assets of the estate.  The fee is:

• 4% of the first $100,000
• 3% of the next $300,000
• 2% of everything over $400,000
• And 1% of non-probate assets
